Bakery assistant wanted in City and Borough of Wakefield

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in City and Borough of Wakefield, England. On a typical shift you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
