Elevator service technician wanted in Platte County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Platte County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy lift company. You will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
