Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Lorain County, Ohio. The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
