Furnace operator — Escambia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Escambia County, Florida. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Rotating shifts.
