Great opportunity: confectioner (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. On the job you will handle: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Score the top of loaves before baking • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
