Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. You will be based on a construction site. On the job you will handle: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Meals and transport allowance provided.
