Visual inspection operator — North Somerset

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in North Somerset, England. You will work in an automotive parts factory. On a typical shift you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
