Groundworker wanted in Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundworker in Jefferson County, Alabama. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Rotating shifts.
