Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Stearns County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
