Urgent requirement: groundsman (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Calhoun County, Mississippi. You will be based at a plant nursery. The role involves: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
