Immediate opening: garment machinist (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Marion County, West Virginia. Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
