Reinforcement fitter wanted in Bryan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Bryan County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
