Join our team: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Douglas County, Missouri. The job is at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred.
