Now hiring: gas pipeline fitter (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Dickenson County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
