Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Columbia County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean 4+ years on the tools preferred.
