Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Wilson County, Tennessee. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
