Banksman wanted in Roane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Roane County, West Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Full-time with occasional weekends.
