Immediate opening: concrete finisher (Georgia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Long County, Georgia. You will work on a building construction site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
