Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
