Great opportunity: fire and safety officer (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Butte County, California. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
