Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; set up and start the machine as per the job card; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine.
