Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Chautauqua County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
