Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
