Powder coating line operator — City of Norfolk

Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in City of Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse. You should have: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
