Join our team: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in New Castle County, Delaware. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
