UPVC window fabricator wanted in Borough of Thurrock

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Borough of Thurrock, England. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. On the job you will handle: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,050 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
