Semi-automatic welder wanted in City of Kingston upon Hull

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
