Now hiring: we are hiring a roofing technician in Greenville County, South Carolina. The job is on commercial flat-roof projects. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems The role involves: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Full-time with occasional weekends.
