Great opportunity: argon arc welder (Idaho)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Benewah County, Idaho. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
