Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
