Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Wicomico County, Maryland. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
