Now hiring: we are hiring a smash repairer in Monroe County, Illinois. You will be based at an accident repair garage. The role involves shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
