Articulated lorry driver wanted in Juneau City and Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
