The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
