Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Full-time with occasional weekends.
