Great opportunity: production operative (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a production operative in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You will work in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
