Join our team: we are hiring a powder coater in Benzie County, Michigan. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks Requirements: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Performance bonus on top of base pay.
