Now hiring: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Medway, England. You will work on long-haul routes across the country. What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Full-time with occasional weekends.
