Concrete placer — Kern County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kern County, California. You will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
