Cnc production machinist wanted in Southampton

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Southampton, England. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
