Concrete labourer • Saint Lucie County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Saint Lucie County, Florida. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer.
