Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in La Salle County, Texas. The job is at an automotive components factory. The role involves monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
