Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in York County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a container port. Day-to-day duties: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Rotating shifts.
