Glass fitter • Jackson County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass fitter in Jackson County, Illinois. You will work in a mirror and glass showroom. The role involves clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass. You should have: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
