Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Crawford County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
