Steel fixing chargehand — Edwards County

Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
