Now hiring: we are hiring a smash repairer in Tompkins County, New York. The job is in a collision repair centre. You should have: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench The role involves: • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
