Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Orange County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
