Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Carroll County, Iowa. You will work in a tool room. The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
