Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Six days a week, one day off.
